About Joel
From youth sports to military life, training became a daily practice and a path toward betterment.
The foundation
Joel started young through football, baseball, and track. The military deepened the discipline. Betterment of himself became the moment he knew training was what he wanted to do.
Outside the gym, he is a husband, brother, and son. His faith matters. So do photography and working on his PC.
Carpentry shapes how Joel coaches: understand the material, measure carefully, establish the foundation, then build. A training plan deserves that same patience and attention. It is built around the person, not copied from someone else.
“I lean towards a balance of things. I like to see what you like. What your goals are. If we find a hobby like running, rock climbing or swimming. I integrate those passions into our workout plans. I also like power lifting and mobility and flexibility training.”— Joel Bitterman
The standard
You can talk about the workout, a hard day, life, or faith. Joel meets the conversation with respect and keeps the work moving forward.
